Runway Review: Elie Saab Fall 2014

Elie Saab fall couture 2014 was a plethora of sparkle and sequins. Every little girls dream. What was unique about this show was that the dresses showed by color: first blue, then pink and so on. There was   so much glitz and glam in the show it was to die for. Definitely not day wear but for a special event, Elie Saab is everything in the words of Rachel Zoe.

Dolce and Gabbana Atla Moda Couture

Dolce and Gabbana's couture presentation is different than its peers. Only the a handful of elite fashion titans and cliental are allowed to the island of Capri to see the presentation. This gives the whole affair an air of mystery. Only glimpses of the collection were captured on camera. And they are extravagant gowns with full skirts and long trains. Total Dolce and Gabbana kind of moment, breathless.

Giambattista Valli Fall 2014 Couture: Runway Review

I don't know how fall appropriate Giambattista Valli's collection is,  but if you're planning an early fall get away to St. Tropez or the Maldives, this collection is perfect. Very easy and effortless dresses to the lovely floral dresses makes sense to wear them on vacation to a little soiree. Then onto the floor length gowns, all that drama with a certain lightness to it. I can imagine a fresh faced celebrity wearing them to an event. Overall the fall vibe wasn't there but if you live in a tropical climate, this collection is super major.

Christian Dior Couture Fall 2014: Runway Review

Raf Simons finally made a dress that every girl wants. You know why? He made pockets! Finally a dress that is not only runway chic but also functional. You no longer have to rely on that tiny little clutch that fits absolutely nothing, instead opt for a pocket inside your dress. This collection ranged from Marie Antoinette era inspired silhouettes to fashion forward cocktail dresses to the modern day downtown girl coats. Its clothes throughout the ages. With this collection a girl can go from evening to girl about town in a split second. The versatility is absolutely there for a girl to chose from. And girls always want options.
