Runway Review: Chanel Resort 2015

Chanel's resort 2015 had a plethora of tweed, psychedelic florals and wide legged pants. It being Chanel, there's got to be some good tweed jacket sets and of course there were. Now this collection showed a lot of floral prints in all sorts of colors: cool greens, bright blues, vibrant reds. It was print on print on print, which is really great for resort. Its not like you can wear these heavy jackets on a cruise around the islands, its definitely not ideal for a holiday, but you can't help but love the detail in each design.

Waitress black

I plan on going back to Thailand, my home country, in January. And plane tickets cost a lot of money. To help my parents out with costs and expenses, I decided to start waitressing on the side. I don't make much, but if I save up over time it will be worth it. My goal has been set to go back home and visit family and friends because I've been gone way too long. To say waitressing is easy? No its not and its a tiring job. I don't work many hours but boy do they feel long. But it's for a good cause so I'm going to do it anyways.

Jewelry Collection: Statement necklace edition

Every girl loves to accessorize. There bags and shoes and jewelry. But today we're going to talk about a trend that started a couple of years ago, which is the statement necklace. Now its easy to look put together in just a Tshirt and jeans, you just throw on a big ol' necklace and you're good to go. I've collected a lot over the few years this trend has been "in." Here are some of my favorites.

She then designed her first piece for her first child and then soon after Jennifer Fisher Jewelry was born. Her pieces have been worn many a celebrity and her work has been praised by councils alike. Barney's

Barney's. Ah, the name alone makes fashionistas giddy with joy. A department store filled with Alaia, Dolce and Gabbana, Celine and so much more. I love dressing up and going there to look around. Just like Tiffany's is to Holly Golightly, Barney's is to me. It's a place where nothing bad could happen. I love taking a look around admiring the craftsmanship of each designer and over all just drooling over every piece wishing it into my own closet. The beauty department is also so magical. As I was in need of a liquid foundation, I headed over to Chanel where I met the lovely Gilberto. He was so helpful with helping me pick out my right shade and then we just had fun as he did my make up and I asking questions. I ended up with two things one from Chanel and one from Bobbi Brown. Naughty naughty I know. As everyone who has a shopping problem knows you go in just looking around and then you end up with something of course.

Beauty and skincare Wishlist

Here are some items that have been on my wishlist of things to get and add to my collection. Now I'm in need of a proper grown up vanity since I've just been using a mirror, no desk for my products. All my products are just stuffed into a make up bag and now its filled to its brim. Seriously in need of a vanity.

Mini Beauty Haul

I was a little naughty and went and bought some little things from both high end and drugstore products. My first stop was target. The target that I go to has a huge beauty section but I had enough control to restrain myself. Now a very naughty thing I did was go to Barney's. At first I thought I was going to window shop, but I ended up with two things somehow. It happens, right? Justifiably I've never bought anything at Barney's before. So this is going to be my first, and probably not last time purchasing from this amazing store.

My hair evolution

Going through my facebook photos just makes me internally cringe at all the fashion faux pas and hair no no's I did in my earlier years. My hair has gone through a lot. The first thing I ever did to my hair was cut it into a bob. Oh, what a wrong idea it was because it did NOT suit my face shape what so ever. But I was doing it for a good cause, Locks of Love that is. I first dyed it when I was in sophomore year of high school, I dyed it this red chestnut color just because I wanted change. Then, not long after I saw streetstyle photography of show goers wearing this ombre hair color. Before ombre came in a box to dye at home, I was bringing pictures that I saw to my hair dresser and telling her I wasn't crazy. Next thing you know, its the biggest thing and I am no longer unique. After that, I went to Thailand and decided to perm my hair, so I don't have to use a curler every day to achieve the look that I wanted. So from then on I just let my hair grow out into its natural ombre, touching it up when needed. But now I'm looking for change. I have a hairstylist that is going to do my hair and change it up. I want my hair to match the look that I'm going for now, which is easy and effortless. Here's my hair transformation:

Artist Admiration: Audrey Kawasaki

Audrey kawasaki, an LA based artist, has captured my heart with her work. Her captivating work is feminine yet sensual with class. Her medium is acrylic on wood, which as an artist myself is very hard to achieve a smooth texture. She inspires me to work hard and be the best that I can with my own art. Here are some of my favorite paintings by her.
