Fendi 2011

I totally forgot to put up the Fendi 2011 collection!! So here is my atonement...

So, a few words... Karl Largerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi did a fantastic job with this spring colleciton. The collection is a total 180 from what Fendi is all about. Usually you think of beautiful furs and leather, but we got very flow-y silhouettes, pastel colors and cute colored flowers on the dresses. I want it all!! My favorite is the 2nd and last dress. What's yours?

P.S. I haven't been feeling well these couple of days so I apologize for the delay in the outfit shoot. When I get better, it will be on the top of my to-do list.

Alexander Wang '11

Yet another successful almost all white spring collection. Three things I love about this collection. 1. The golden tape on the coats and trousers. 2. The sickly yet beautiful pastel colors. 3. The white paint in the hair. Another beautiful collection that Alexander Wang produced.

Albert Elbaz did it again. It was a spectacular show, especially the closing.

I'll be uploading the Alexander Wang show later tonight. I'm sorry for the lack of outfit updates, I haven't been feeling well lately, but I promised (even though I am ill) that I will definitely do an outfit post tomorrow.

Studs, Pins and Balmain (Spring '11)

I am a die-hard Balmain fan so of course the spring collection left me breathless. At first I thought "Balmain, oh definitely there will be studded jackets, its rock 'n' roll after all..." But the jackets were beyond what I expected. Maybe I can get a hold of one of them (I would be the luckiest girl in the world!). On another note, I love how all the model's tights were ripped. The idea of ripped tights under thousands of dollar leather shorts was so genius.

Long live Balmain.

Dolce and Gabbana '11

Photos via Style.com
Dolce and Gabbana's almost white collection was so beautiful. I want to wear everything!! I love how the collection is semi-white but there are pops of leopard and black outfits. It reminds me of ying and yang. Just so beautiful. Ahhh! need to stop gushing over this (which is impossible).

This is just a quick post before I need to run off to piano lesson.

Until next time.

Jewelry Post

As I was photographing my jewelry I realized that apparently I own a lot of necklaces and rings that have animals or animal faces on them. Weird. I think I'm realizing things I don't know about myself.

Photographs by Me.
These are the jewelry that I basically use the most. I especially love the Aztec-like bird necklace I got from Mango. Its definitely a conversation starter. Compared to my friends, my jewelry collection is quite small, but this year one of my early new years resolution is definitely to add more to my collection. If you liked my metrocard chain I made, maybe I'll even do a few DIY's on making your own jewelry or make your mom's jewelry wearable for you.

I have a bunch of spring '11 rtw (ready-to-wear if you didn't already know that) to post. I was hoping to post the Dolce & Gabbana and the Balmain shows up later.

xoxo
