Chanel fall 2014 Couture : Runway Review

Couture. The word that describes a fashionista's dreams. Anything is possible and can be made happen in the world of couture. A beautiful ball gown with a bright red bustle, a forever long skin tight mermaid style gown, the list goes on. Karl's dream for this collection was based off of architect Le Corbusier. The collection was filled with shorts underneath dresses. Each look is very tailored and wearable, which, for couture, is a good thing. The textures, colors and structure screamed Karl. The off the shoulder dresses were fantastically whimsical and playful as they were in pastels. Every white and gold dress that walked were impeccably gorgeous. They could be worn to an event or even an extravagant birthday party. Overall the variety in the collection with the dresses was great. The best part is if you so happen to be fortunate enough to purchase one of these looks, there is wearability to them, which is practical. Congratulations to Karl for another successful collection. Looking forward to many more.
